A message from “La-Reishia” (KabulSIVVerification@state.gov) at the Afghanistan Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) Unit / LMJ told me that a person seeking US Visa needs a verification. He is one of three individuals that I’m helping. One is an interpreter, and the other is a woman who worked in the office of the Afghan President.
On October 8, 2021 I received an email from this Afghan National seeking a US Visa. He worked at one of the Forward Operating Bases building our Persistent Threat Detection System.
In the first one, I referred to what he did in our program. The site lead, James Michael Paris, would be a better one to vouch for the Afghan national’s participation in the program. The FOB Commander is a US Army Captain, James E Chapman, Troop B, 4-73rd CAV. He could also say that the Afghan National worked for the Army. (An article on FOB Zormat is at dvsbhub.)
I’ve not gotten through to Captain Chapman.
Mr. Paris could contact KabulSIVVerification@state.gov) All the preliminary work for the Afghan National’s paperwork has been completed. Mr. Paris’ help could be very significant to the Afghan family. He has three children.
