Their decision to purchase the right safety equipment saved their lives and the inventors and manufacturers of the reserve parachute automatic activation devices (AADs) have two more reasons to be proud of their work. The two parachutists in the clip will receive ridicule and abuse for their mistake, and they should, but we should also be grateful to them for sharing the experience. It has surely made a useful impression on many.
