Gabe is a thrill seeker like me and his work with Mel Fisher and Fisher’s sons is an example. I wished I could have joined him when he went to Florida to search for the treasure that went down with the Spanish ship Atocha. Gabe and I did pursue excitement together on a few occasions; on our high school wrestling team, when we were among the first to try parasailing with ram air parachutes and when we took the first jump course together.
